Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join the Rehab Rockford team. You will handle registration, concierge, and clerical tasks, supporting patients through their visits and coordinating referrals and appointments.

Role requires strong communication, familiarity with EMR systems, and the ability to navigate insurance and scheduling processes. The position is part-time with day shifts at Rockford and Sparta locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and handle complex patient/customer issues with high discernment.
• Schedule appointments, referrals, in-office procedures, surgeries and tests; review medical records.
• Verify insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Scan EMR/EHR documents and manage Right Fax uploading to EPIC.
• Assist with training new team members using standard work.
