Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support registration, concierge and clerical duties. You will work with a team to deliver high-quality service to patients and ensure smooth check-in and referrals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services or EHR-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and assist with complex problem solving during check-in and room assignment.
• Handle administrative tasks: scheduling referrals, medical records review, and deposits reconciliation.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals.
• Manage EMR/EHR scanning and EPIC uploading.
• Assist with training new team members using standard work.
• Support patient checkout and scheduling across departments.
• Adhere to safety initiatives and complete required competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
