Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Part-Time Patient Service Representative for the Lake Bluff Immediate Care Center. This 24-hour-per-week role covers patient check-in/out, registration, and payments, with two 12-hour shifts from 7:45am to 8:15pm, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests and verifies identity.
• Checks in and out patients as directed.
• Updates patient demographics and insurance information.
• Registers patients as needed.
• Collects co-payments and processes payments.
• Posts payments and closes out the cash drawer at end of day.
• Keeps waiting area clean and comfortable.
• Informs patients of delays or changes in appointment status.
• Schedules appointments and may float to other ICCs.
