Athletico Physical Therapy in Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will safeguard data integrity and support revenue cycle performance, reporting to the Clinic Manager and collaborating with the PES.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, EMR proficiency, and strong insurance verification knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
• 1–2 years of healthcare administration preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide front-office support.
• Complete patient intake and registration with demographic verification and eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability and access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards for data accuracy.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes to referral sources.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training.
