Job summary

Summit Orthopedics is seeking a Patient Coordinator to support the Plymouth Bass Lake team. The role focuses on scheduling, care coordination, and non-clinical support under supervision. This is a part-time 0.8 FTE position with a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday schedule.

Primary duties include triaging calls, coordinating physician schedules, and documenting orders in the EMR. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better required.
• Associates degree in Medical Assistant or related field preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience in medical administration or care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Schedule follow-up appointments and surgeries.
• Coordinate patient care between team members and departments.
• Triage patient calls and manage team voicemail and email.
• Enter physician orders into the electronic medical record.
