The role emphasizes patient greeting, registration accuracy, insurance verification, and cash-collection processes while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Prior customer service experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years customer service experience.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a proactive self-directed manner.
• Multi-tasking and problem solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to build working relationships to foster a team environment.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm with 95% accuracy.
• BLS certification within six months of hire from an AHA-endorsed program.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally, schedule and register patients, verify insurance and collect payments.
• Assist with pre-registration/pre-admission and patient wayfinding across locations.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency to optimize cash flow and compliance with regulations.
