Job summary

Children’s of Alabama, located at the Main Downtown Campus, is seeking staff for the In Patient Registration Clinics. The role involves pre-registration verification, scheduling and follow-up appointments, and co-pay collection in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinical setting.

Flexibility to work at different locations and roles is required, with on-call during weather-related emergencies. The position is part-time with Day Shift hours (Tuesdays to Fridays, off Monday, 7:30-12:30; Fridays

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in staff-level Care Admin/Registration preferred.
• Knowledge/experience with SMS/Invision and automated scheduling applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-registration verification, scheduling and follow-up appointments.
• Handle co-pay collection and account verification/updates.
• Collaborate with bed placement coordinators in a multidisciplinary setting and adapt to locations/roles as needed.
