Job summary

Henry Ford Health Family Medicine – East Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI is seeking a Clinic Service Representative (Part-time) to support patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes in a busy family practice.

Under supervision, you will verify insurance, assist with preregistration, handle cash collections, reconcile charts, and help deliver exceptional service to diverse patients while maintaining accuracy and courtesy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with clinic environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with detailed information.
• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively over the telephone and in person with patients, visitors, medical staff, and other clinic and/or hospital personnel.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a timely manner to meet clinic staff and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures for patient registration activities including patient reception, face-to-face check in and check out, preregistration, insurance verification, cash collections, chart reconciliation and patient discharge.
• Contribute to an organizational culture committed to service excellence standards for all customer groups.
