Guidehouse is seeking a Part Time Patient Access Representative for 32+ hours per week, onsite at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA. You will perform pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering tasks, escorting patients and acting as an advocate for efficient access to services.

The role emphasizes patient-first service with rotating weekends and holidays. Prior hospital or healthcare customer service experience and bilingual English/Spanish are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 0-2 prior relevant experience in a medical/clinical/dental/hospital setting OR customer service setting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Nice to have).

Create a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while performing the tasks of pre- admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors.

The primary responsibility is to assist patients and their families in accessing services acting as an advocate and navigator until the patient is handed off to clinical staff.

This is a Part Time opening, 32 hours plus per week. Varied Day Shift

What You Will Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

The annual salary range for this position is $38,000.00-$63,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
