Job summary

Corewell Health in Kentwood, MI, seeks a part-time Patient Access Specialist to assist patients, providers and staff with navigating services and resolving inquiries. You will handle calls, live chat and email, delivering an exceptional experience while following established guidelines. This 20-hour weekly role runs 10:30 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with every third weekend. Michigan residency is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Preferred Associate's degree

Responsibilities

• Assist and educate patients, providers, and staff with accessing services and resolving problems.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, online chat, and email to deliver exceptional service.
• Document interactions and follow established guidelines to support service metrics.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when needed.
