Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and facilitate events inside a Michaels store, including kids birthday parties, to deliver a fun, engaging experience for guests.

You will help customers shop, provide fast checkout, and complete operational tasks such as truck unload, stocking, and maintaining store recovery standards to support our brand promise.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience with children\'s events preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle multiple events and adjust plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events including children\'s parties.
• Assist customers and help them shop.
• Manage checkout flow and rewards enrollments.
• Execute store duties such as stocking and recovery per SOP.
• Communicate events with clients and team.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety during events.
