Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an in-store Event Coordinator to plan and run events, including children’s birthday parties, at a Michaels location. The role involves engaging customers, guiding activities, and coordinating with the store team.

You will support shopping experiences, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label programs, and assist with BOPIS/SFS processes while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events at the store, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages and create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct participants in crafts and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons per standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Handle administrative tasks such as emails, calls, and paperwork.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
