Job summary

VHC Health seeks a Scrub Technician for Labor and Delivery on a part-time basis in Arlington, VA. You will prepare the OR environment and equipment, assist with instrumentation and supplies, and support the circulating RN to ensure a smooth perioperative experience.

The role requires a high school diploma, VA-licensed Surgical Technologist, and BLS certification; one year of scrub experience is preferred and surgical technology certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensed Surgical Technologist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• One year of scrub experience is preferred.
• Certification in Surgical Technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR environment, equipment, instrumentation and supply utilization for perioperative patients.
• Coordinate with the circulating RN and work in concert with department goals.
