Qualifications

• Surgical Technology Program graduate and Virginia licensure required within 30 days of start date.
• Certified Surgical Technologist with Virginia license required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up the sterile surgical field using aseptic technique and assist with instrument handling.
• Assist the circulating RN with operating room setup, equipment, and patient positioning.
• Perform supply management duties and maintain sterile environment.

Education

Surgical Technology Program graduate, or equivalent training

Certified Surgical Technologist and Licensed with the Commonwealth of Virginia

Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
