Job summary

United Hospital Center seeks a skilled surgical team member to join our operating room as a scrub tech. You will support the surgical team by maintaining sterile technique, handling instruments, and assisting with patient positioning under surgeon direction.

Ideal candidates have either an LPN license with scrub experience or completion of a Surgical Technology program with certification. Physical stamina and reliability are essential for our fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with at least two years of scrub experience.
• Completion of a Surgical Technology Program with surgical technologist certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes quality aseptic technique in a sterile or unsterile role in the OR.
• Assists the circulating RN in maintaining a sterile field and monitoring technique.
