Jefferson Health's Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse - Operating Room to join the team on a part-time basis (24 hours per week) with day shifts. The nurse will provide perioperative care, collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff, and support patient and family-centered care.

Completion of Periop 101 preferred; active PA RN license required; BSN preferred; strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills essential.

Formación

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Patient-and Family-Centered Practice knowledge of conveying respect and collaborating with patients and families.
• Cultural Awareness knowledge of diverse backgrounds and ability to connect with patients and families.
• Effective communication concepts and techniques to engage patients and families.
• Knowledge of discharge planning and patient education that supports recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver care that respects cultural beliefs.
• Collaborates with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative care.
• Documents patient information accurately in health records.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement activities.
• Assists in education of patients and families about care plans and recovery.
