Jefferson Health's Abington campus is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. The role focuses on delivering patient- and family-centered perioperative care with an emphasis on safety, teamwork, and evidence-based practice.

The position requires specialized nursing education and an active RN license in Pennsylvania. Experience in perioperative or acute care settings is preferred and shifts are daytime with a 24-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program; specialized diploma required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care, communication, and cultural sensitivity.
• Understanding of nursing processes, safety protocols, and collaboration with inter-professional teams.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to deliver evidence-based nursing care.
• Identify learning needs with patients and families and provide education.
• Use health IT to manage care, monitor outcomes, and support quality improvements.
• Work within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Foster inclusion and support professional growth and precept new staff.
• Participate in safety and quality committees and integrate feedback into practice.
