Job summary

Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Casual Part-Time Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will greet patients, assist with examinations, manage records, and support the doctor and retail teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, HIPAA-compliant record keeping, and cooperative work with the optometrist and store staff. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and precise data handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and maintain a professional image.
• Answer telephone calls promptly in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist with eye examinations and patient preparation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and input data into the system.
• Support retention through exam confirmations and follow-up calls.
• Maintain contact lens room and inventory in exam areas.
• Assist in linking doctor and retail functions to deliver the LensCrafters Experience.
