Job summary

Inuplands is seeking an On-Call Onsite Technician to provide on-demand technical support at school sites within a two-hour drive of the technician's home. This part-time, PRN role offers scheduling flexibility and periodic dispatches rather than daily presence.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a K-12 environment.

• Ability to prioritize requests and manage variable, on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I onsite technical support during visits and on-call dispatches.
• Coordinate visit windows and on-call schedules with Head of Onsite Services.
• Imaging computers, installing software, and maintaining inventory during site visits.
• Troubleshoot and repair devices including iPads, MacBooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops/desktops, and interactive whiteboards.
• Log detailed notes in the ticketing system and escalate as needed until issues are resolved.
• Communicate ticket status clearly with school staff and Five Star leadership.
• Support seasonal spikes like deployment/collection and back-to-school setup.
• Uphold quality-of-service standards for single-visit or infrequent engagements.
• Travel within a two-hour radius of home address with valid driver's license.
