Job summary

Five-Star-Technology-Solutions is seeking an On-Call Onsite Technician to provide urgent, on-demand technical support for students, teachers, and staff at K-12 sites within a two-hour drive of your home. This part-time, PRN role is designed for districts needing intermittent onsite coverage rather than full-time presence.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel within a two-hour radius.
Part-time / PRN, W-2 employee (non-exempt).

Responsibilities

Provide Tier I onsite support during visits and on-call dispatches.
Coordinate availability and visit scheduling with the Head of Onsite Services.
Perform computer imaging, software installations, and tech inventory maintenance during visits.
Troubleshoot and repair devices including iPads, MacBooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops/desktops, and interactive whiteboards.
Log detailed troubleshooting notes in the ticketing system and escalate when necessary.
Communicate ticket status to school personnel and Five Star leadership.
