Job summary

Stonebridge Companies in Houston, TX seeks a Night Auditor to close daily operations, balance revenues, perform basic bookkeeping, and handle guest check-ins/check-outs for overnight service.

Candidates should have hospitality or customer service experience, be proficient with a property management system, communicate clearly, and work independently during overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays. This role reports to the Assistant General Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic bookkeeping and balancing financial transactions.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with property management systems.
• Ability to work overnight and weekends.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, register, and assign rooms.
• Verify payment methods and process authorizations.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
• Balance daily receipts and revenues, conduct income audits.
• Assist guests with check-out, review accounts and discrepancies.
• Answer calls, direct inquiries or guest needs.
• Coordinate with overnight housekeeping or maintenance staff.
• Make and confirm reservations, ensure accurate data entry.
• Provide guests with information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Document guest feedback and escalation issues to management.
• Perform nightly bucket checks to ensure standards.
• Assist in maintaining security during overnight shifts.
