Job summary

Marsden Services, L.L.C. is hiring a Property Maintenance Technician Level II or III for Jackson, MS. Shifts run 10am–3pm, Monday–Friday (25 hours/week). You will perform installations, inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure buildings meet standards and legal requirements.

Responsibilities include scheduling work orders, basic HVAC and plumbing tasks, and collaborating with vendors. Must have a technical background and own tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
• Four years of multi-family/commercial maintenance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work on-call, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must provide own hand tools as listed.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to meet standards and laws.
• Schedule, prioritize, and complete work orders within 48 hours.
• Complete basic HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and related repairs.
• Assist in prioritizing work orders and monitor building maintenance.
• Conduct site-level preventative maintenance inspections.
• Prepare vacant units as assigned.
• Collaborate with vendors on maintenance projects.
• Maintain workshop inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Provide professional conduct with residents, vendors, and the public.
• Participate in training and ensure certifications are current.
