Marsden Services, L.L.C. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician Level II or III to join our Birmingham-based team. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks, respond to work orders within 48 hours, and support on-site preventive maintenance for a multi-family property.

The role requires 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, HVAC/electrical/carpentry skills, and a valid driver’s license. Expect on-call duties, training, and safety compliance as part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Four years multi-family or commercial building maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including emails, hours entry, and basic Excel usage.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• All boilers license levels accepted and preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform a variety of maintenance duties including equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to meet standards and laws.
• Schedule, prioritize, and ensure completion of work orders within 48 hours.
• Complete basic repairs related to HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliances, and windows.
• Assist in prioritizing work orders and monitoring maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Perform site-level preventive maintenance inspections and duties.
• Prepare vacant units as assigned.
• Collaborate with vendor teams on maintenance projects.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain professional conduct with residents, vendors, staff, and the public.
• Provide on-call emergency maintenance as scheduled.
• Assist in training new maintenance technicians.
