Job summary

Marsden Services, L.L.C. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician Level III to perform installation, repairs and preventative maintenance across our portfolio in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area.

The role requires hands-on work, following safety procedures and maintaining high standards. You will handle work orders, assist in training new technicians, manage basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing tasks, and be on-call for emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Regular lifting of more than 20 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
• Able to navigate property/building, climb stairs and move through hallways.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 2-year technical degree or equivalent.
• 4 years of multi-family or commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills including Excel and time/tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders to ensure completion within 48 hours.
• Complete basic repairs in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Assist in training and mentoring new maintenance technicians.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies and ensure safety procedures.
• Attend training and keep required certifications current.
• Provide on-call emergency maintenance as scheduled.
• Collaborate with vendor teams on maintenance projects.
