Job summary

JES Holdings is seeking a part-time Maintenance Tech II in Festus, MO to support the maintenance and upkeep of over 250 apartment communities. You will perform repairs, respond to work orders, and participate in preventive maintenance with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires punctuality, professionalism, and proactive service, with after-hours availability and the ability to travel between properties as needed. Training on HVAC and HUD standards will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems (ie. door entry, fire suppression).
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC during unit turns, work orders, and preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools and transport supplies as needed with insured vehicle.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
