Job summary

JES Holdings is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to perform hands-on upkeep, repairs, and preventative maintenance across our properties in Jefferson City, MO. You will handle tasks from plumbing and electrical to painting and appliance repair, with a focus on timely unit turns and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 3+ years in multifamily or similar settings, knowledge of REAC/INSPIRE prep, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of completing unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Preform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit make readies ensuring timely completion (painting, carpet cleaning, general unit cleaning).
• Preform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Must assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Must pick up supplies from area vendors while operating a registered and insured vehicle.
• Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for delegated tasks.
• Travel to regional and corporate training/conferences as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, staff.
• Report health and safety concerns to the manager.
• Willing to work overtime as needed and approved.
• Eager to train and learn company systems, HVAC safety, HUD/LIHTC maintenance training.
