Job summary

JES Holdings, the Fairway Management division, seeks a Maintenance Tech II in Kirksville, MO to keep apartment communities safe and well-maintained. You will handle unit turns, urgent repairs, and routine upkeep with a focus on reliability and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical/plumbing/HVAC, painting, carpentry, and completing work orders. The role requires a HS diploma and 3+ years in similar settings; EPA Type II HVAC is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and operating systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of completing unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain curb appeal and complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Conduct unit make-readies including painting, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning.
• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance checks.
• Assist neighboring properties as needed.
• Pick up supplies from area vendors and operate a registered and insured vehicle.
