Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward Residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter information.
• Role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking and aiding after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Be an Advocate of Empathy and create human connections with residents.
• Act as a Patient Observer to discover interests and engagement plans.
• Master the Mise en Scène: prepare environments for daily activities and events.
• Serve as a Life Partner, supporting residents throughout daily routines.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
• Assist with orientation of memory care neighborhood team members.
