Job summary

Galter Life Center in Chicago is seeking a Membership Representative for part-time hours to drive revenue through member recruitment, program promotion, and service-oriented sales. The role requires knowledge of center amenities and a passion for connecting people to resources and community experiences.

Responsibilities include conducting value-based tours, following up with prospects, and achieving sales goals while maintaining excellent member relations. CPR/AED certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Prior work in customer service or sales; fitness sales preferred.
• CPR/AED certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide benefits-based tours and follow up with prospective members.
• Establish rapport by evaluating needs, goals and reason for visit.
• Provide scripted, needs-based tours highlighting value of enrollment options, programs and services.
• Follow up with prospects by email within 48 hours of a facility tour and within 1 week to schedule sign-up; 90 days after initial visit.
• Aim to close 70% of new prospect tours to help meet team and individual goals.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions, price structures, add-ons, incentives and referral pathways.
• Generate leads and referrals by engaging with current members and staff.
• Handle member concerns and issues to provide positive outcomes; involve management when needed.
