Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older; director approval possible.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members and guests in person and over the phone.
• Monitor facility access via membership scans and Raptor database searches.
• Conduct interviews/tours to engage prospective members and registrations.
• Respond to emergencies per YMCA policies; file incident reports as required.
• Build relationships with members and connect them with programs.
• Resolve membership concerns and inform supervisors on unresolved issues.
• Follow all YMCA policies, upholding caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
• Maintain accurate records of membership/program transactions, including payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
