Job summary

The Gateway Region YMCA in Red Bud, IL is seeking a part-time Welcome Center Associate to support membership enrollment, program registration, and guest services. You will greet members, verify guests in Raptor, and enter data into the HRIS system with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic backgrounds.
• Previous customer service or sales experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with branch management to implement membership policies and systems.
• Enter membership and program registrations into the HRIS.
• Greet members and verify guests in Raptor before entry.
• Process HRIS transactions and perform daily closeouts.
• Recruit participants for member challenges.
• Suggest procedures to improve efficiency at the Welcome Center.
• Assist with attainment of membership department goals.
• Provide feedback on service gaps and member concerns.
• Respond to inquiries and solve problems using Listen First.
• Handle conflicts with support from the Membership Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
