Planet Fitness in Hoover, AL is seeking a Part Time Member Services Representative to create a positive member experience through outstanding customer service at the front desk. You will greet members and guests, assist with check-ins, new member sign-ups, and tours, and help maintain a welcoming club environment.

We're looking for individuals with a background in customer service, a passion for fitness, a friendly and upbeat attitude, reliability, and the ability to listen and resolve questions

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk activities: answer phones, assist callers, check members into the system, sign up new members, give tours.
• Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to questions and concerns; escalate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the club.
