Job summary

TruWest Credit Union in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Teller II to assist members with products, services, and accounts. You will help open new accounts, process deposits, and support loan processing while balancing cash and maintaining accuracy.

The role requires strong sales/referral skills, excellent customer service, and notary duties. Starting pay is $20.04/hr with benefits and a flexible schedule to fit personal life.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year Teller II or related sales experience in a financial institution.
• Education: High School diploma; Certifications A–D of the TruAchievement Branch Program (if participating in this program).
• Knowledge of TruWest products, services and account requirements.
• Ability to perform math calculations with accuracy; maintain a cash drawer and balance daily.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Professional image in dress, appearance and behavior; flexible schedule.
• Notary and Signature Guarantee duties as part of role.

Responsibilities

• Identify member’s financial needs through profiling and promoting appropriate products to maximize cross-sale opportunities.
• Actively manage the lobby traffic with professional service to members.
• Complete and process product/service/loan applications and interface with members.
• Open deposit accounts and book loan products; ensure documentation for processing complies with laws.
• Balance cash drawer daily; handle negotiables and reporting.
• Provide notary and signature guarantee services when required.
• Perform duties with a professional image and adapt to branch needs.
