Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent required.
• Technical/Vocational School preferred.
• Completion of phlebotomy training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• May perform phlebotomy and blood specimen collection.
• May receive and set up primary specimen cultures and inoculate for bacterial growth.
• May perform preanalytical testing tasks and transport specimens.
• Handles patient data, verification of IDs and requirements per protocol.
• Follows safety policies including PPE use and chemical handling.
