Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Phlebotomist in the Laboratory to support front office, phlebotomy, back office, and processing specimens. Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am–4pm at 38111 Market Square Drive, ZH FL.

The role includes blood collection, specimen labeling, interfacing with Intergy, and ensuring compliance with protocols. It requires high school diploma and phlebotomy certification within 6 months; experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to work with LIS.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance details before phlebotomy.
• Perform peripheral venipuncture with proper technique.
• Label and transport specimens to the lab per protocol.
• Handle billing information and assist with reports.
• Travel to FMC work locations as requested.
