Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Part Time Medical Assistant to support our Health Center in Orlando, FL. The role offers a total of 11 hours per week with shifts on Wednesdays 7am–12pm and Thursdays 7am–1pm, requiring phlebotomy skills and clinical support.

You will interview patients, measure vital signs, maintain records, prepare rooms, and assist with injections, labs, EKGs and other exams while handling front desk tasks and supply orders. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization or CMA certification.
• Current certification with hands-on training in BLS (AHA/ARC) is required.
• State Lab Certificate (NV only) as applicable.
• CMA certification from recognized bodies approved by the Board of Medical Examiners (SC) if applicable.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height).
• Maintains patient health records for accuracy and currency.
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Administers medications including injections, performs lab tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostics per state rules.
• Performs administrative tasks at front desk, schedules appointments, follow-ups, and orders supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
