Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support a primary care team in Carmel, IN. You will function as both a Medical Receptionist and clinical MA, delivering patient care and handling routine duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires MA program completion, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of MA experience; phlebotomy is preferred. Part-time position with strong benefits and patient-centered care emphasis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in primary care.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program; MA certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, assist procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records and communicate results to patients.
