Job summary

Marathon Health is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team at our Carmel, IN site. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and a high-quality guest experience, handling front-d desk duties and essential clinical tasks.

The role requires MA training, CPR/BLS certification at start, and may involve phlebotomy duties. We offer a competitive benefits package and a collaborative, patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduate of a formal Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification or registration is preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data in the medical record and communicate test results to patients.
• Assist with outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
