Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at our Indiana center. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and create an exceptional guest experience, acting as both receptionist and clinical support.

The role requires at least 1 year of MA experience, MA program graduation, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred phlebotomy experience. Competitive pay and a strong team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; certification/registration preferred in some states
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked
• Take vitals and assist with procedures
• Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders
• Manage front desk duties, scheduling, records requests, and referrals
• Document data in the medical record following guidelines
• Communicate test results to patients and coordinate care with the team
• Support outreach to patients to boost engagement
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments
