Job summary

Marathon Health in Indiana is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The role combines clinical duties with reception responsibilities, delivering excellent patient care and creating a welcoming guest experience.

You will take vitals, assist with procedures, coordinate with the care team, and support lab work. Applicants should have MA training and CPR/BLS; certification preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a cooperative work environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program; MA certification preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam areas are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests and document results.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, and referrals.
• Record data in the medical record and communicate results to patients.
