Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Indiana.

The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and an exceptional guest experience, serving as both a Medical Receptionist and a clinical assistant within our integrated care model. The role emphasizes patient care, front-desk duties, and collaboration with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room; ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Review prior medical information and update health data to inform the Provider.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per Provider order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document in medical records; process test results and relay to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage patients and maintain supplies and equipment.
