Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Meat Associate in Wyoming, MI to prepare and display meat products, stock backrooms, and assist with merchandising. You will work under the Meat Manager to ensure product quality and safety, following guest experience guidelines in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires basic math, reading/comprehension, and a willingness to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior retail experience is helpful, and a High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience helpful.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic math skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Meat Products to Production Planner.
• Package and Label Meat Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Meat Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Meat Products – Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Notify the Meat Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Work as a team with other departments and Stores to achieve growth in SpartanNash Retail stores.
• Follow PPE, Safety, Food Safety, and Guest Experience Guidelines.
