Bethesda Health Group is seeking an LPN for a day shift at Bethesda Dilworth in St. Louis, MO. The role supports residents with basic nursing care, assessments, and care plan execution, requiring IV/CPR certifications and LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing that results in becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current LPN license in the state you will be working
• CPR and AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
• IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Must be able to assess the basic nursing care needs of the geriatric resident
• Must possess excellent communication skills to interact with residents, visitors and staff
• Time management and organizational skills required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary

Responsabilités

• Provides basic nursing care by assisting in the assessment of residents on admission and ongoing basis.
• Documents assessments accurately and timely; communicates significant changes to the IDT and families.
• Participates in care planning and updates plans as interventions change.
• Administers medications and treatments safely; adheres to nursing orders and physician orders.
• Notifies physicians promptly using SBARR communication tool.
• Assists with ADLs and responds to call lights; maintains composure during crises.
