Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Missouri is seeking an LPN to provide basic nursing care, assess residents on admission and ongoing changes, and participate in the care planning process with the interdisciplinary team.

You will document assessments and interventions, administer medications and treatments safely, and communicate plans to residents and families. CPR/AED and IV certification are required or obtainable within six months.

Qualifications

• Must be an LPN with current license in state of work.
• CPR and AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• IV certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Able to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing conditions.
• Document assessments and communicate changes to the IDT and families.
• Participate in care planning and implement nursing interventions according to the plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments in a safe and timely manner.
• Document interventions accurately and timely; notify physician when needed using SBARR.
• Maintain composure during crises and monitor care plan delivery.
