Bethesda Health Group in St. Louis, MO is seeking an LPN to provide basic nursing care, assess residents on admission and ongoing, document assessments, and participate in care planning with the IDT.

You will administer medications and treatments safely and timely, communicate changes to the IDT and families, and maintain documentation; IV certification preferred; long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, visitors and staff.
• Ability to transfer and move patients who vary with ability to assist weighing 200+lbs using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary.

Responsabilités

• Provides basic nursing care by assessing the resident on admission and on an ongoing basis.
• Documents assessments accurately and timely; communicates significant changes to the IDT and families.
• Participates in the care planning process and implements nursing interventions per plan of care.
• Delivers medication administration and treatments safely and timely.
• Administers IV fluids if IV certified and documents interventions accurately.
