Job summary

Opry Entertainment is seeking an Usher in Nashville to deliver exceptional guest experiences at our iconic venues. You will verify tickets, guide guests to seating, distribute show programs, and help keep the facility clean during and after events.

The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, an outgoing personality, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior guest service experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Scan and verify proper ticketing required for entry.
• Provide seating directions at points of entry and assist guests as needed.
• Distribute show programs and handouts as required.
• Assist with crowd management and maintain order in seating areas.
• Address disruptive guests and advise on corrective action; involve leadership if needed.
• Respond to guest concerns and take corrective action; inform leadership when necessary.
• Maintain facility cleanliness, including trash collection before, during, and after shows.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown of chairs and seating configurations.
• Report concerns or maintenance items to management.
• May participate in post-show tours.
