Job summary

Opry Entertainment Group is seeking an usher to help deliver exceptional guest experiences at our iconic concert venues. You will verify tickets, direct guests to seating, distribute programs, and assist with maintaining a clean facility during and after events.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing personality.
• Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Scan and verify tickets for entry.
• Provide seating directions and assist guests as needed.
• Distribute show programs and handouts as required.
• Assist with crowd management and maintain order in seating areas and aisles.
• Address disruptive guests and escalate as needed to leadership.
• Respond to guest concerns and take corrective action when required.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the facility and spaces before, during, and after shows.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of chairs and seating configurations.
• Report concerns or maintenance items to venue management.
• May be trained to perform post-show tours.
• Support emergency evacuation procedures when necessary; guide guests and employees to designated locations.
• Follow corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
