Butler County Community College is seeking a Part Time Student Worker in Infrastructure Services TEC-E. You will assist the Infrastructure Services team with implementation, maintenance and support across network, security, servers, identity management, and communications.

The position involves handling Service Desk tickets, working on projects, and learning software such as VMware, Aruba, Cisco, and Microsoft.

Qualifications

Willingness to learn new technologies.
Aptitude to learn Butler approved software.
Understand Microsoft domain networked environment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to multi-task.
Ability to support by phone, in person, and remote assistance tools.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, planning skills to enhance all facets of services through efficient processes.
Ability to follow complex instructions either written or orally.
Aptitude to understand complex systems.
Ability to identify, isolate and communicate problems from/to all levels of users, technical staff and management.
Self-starter.

Responsibilities

Assist Infrastructure Services team in implementation, maintenance and support of network, cyber security, server administration, identity management, physical security, voice and unified communications.
Enter, respond to and resolve Service Desk tickets and perform assigned projects.
Learn and work with hardware and software such as VMware, Aruba, Cisco, and Microsoft.
