Job summary

The State of Ohio's Division of Information Technology Services is seeking an IT College Intern at the SW Ohio Development Center in Batavia. You will assist Infrastructure Specialists, image devices, salvage hardware, and handle IT requests, gaining hands-on experience in a live state IT environment.

As a currently enrolled college student, you will support networking tasks, attend meetings, and contribute to ServiceNow ticketing and DC requests.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Academic status determines rate of pay.

Responsibilities

• Assist Infrastructure Specialist at assigned Developmental Centers and/or offices.
• Image computing devices, salvages hardware and performs general IT work.
• Troubleshoot networking issues under supervision.
• Take directions from IS staff regarding IT coverage at the facility and assist with DC requests through ServiceNow tickets.
• Attend meetings and take notes as needed.
• Perform other internship duties within scope.
