Wilson Lumber Company in Huntsville, AL is seeking a part-time IT Support Specialist to provide end-user and device support across multiple locations. The role involves troubleshooting computer issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining security-related configurations in the Microsoft 365 environment.

You will work up to 20 hours per week, coordinate with the Sr. IT Manager, assist with OT systems, and help document resolutions and SOPs to improve network and software security.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or pursuing related degree.
• CompTIA Sec+ CE or equivalent IT certs, or willingness to pursue.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-User & Device Support: setup/repair PCs, printers, and network devices; track issues in the ticketing system.
• Cybersecurity & Systems Support: security event analysis, audits, OT systems support, backups monitoring.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: SOPs, training, and security practice enhancements.
• Other Responsibilities: prioritize tasks with Sr. IT Manager; travel up to 20%.
